If you often feel run down, you may be low on iron. If you are overweight, you should stick to a balanced diet, try to cut down on foods containing sugar and fat, and get plenty of physical activity. Oily fish are also a rich source of omega 3 fatty acids. The focus should be on eating a healthy diet and being active rather than on losing weight. Some good sources are red meat, breakfast cereals fortified with iron, and bread. Aim to eat at least five portions of a variety of fruit and veg a day.
